Frederick Nietzsche was a fascinating philosopher. He was well known for dismantling other well known philosophers beliefs. He says the purpose of philosophy isn't necessarily about finding "the truth", it's more about enriching our lives and to discover value.

He analyses observations and the subtleties of human psychology, our own human behaviour and the motivations behind our actions, which can often be concealed. He aimed to understand the complex nature of the human psyche to make better insightful findings of the mind. "The greater part of the thinking like a philosopher is secretly guided into definite channels by his instincts"

He describes how the will to power is the cardinal drive for human behaviour. "A living being seeks above all to reveal its strength. Life itself is a will to power. Self preservation is only one of its indirect or most frequent results". He articulates how it is the will to power to overcome obstacles and to seize our destiny. He's a king observer of the human mind, that of which states that having virtue is a good sign of one's character.

Beyond Good and Evil demonstrates that the world is steeped in false piety and infected with a 'slave morality'. With wit and subversive energy, Nietzsche demands that the individual impose their own 'will to power' upon the world.

'The Superman': the man of the future, if he is to be free, cannot allow anyone else to define his life for him, cannot take authority for granted, but must question the world without as well as the world within, to discover for himself what is important and what is true. His famous 'Will to Power' is the personal decision to wrest the control of our life from those who would seek to rule or dominate you.

"What we experience in dreams, if we experience it often, is in the end just as much of the total economy of our soul as is anything we really experience".
